United Way of Tarrant County today announced Regina Williams has been hired as Vice President, Community Investment, where she will oversee the organization’s Mission United, a military and veterans outreach and services initiative. In addition, United Way of Tarrant County announced three promotions in its Community Investment department: Leah King, EVP and Chief Operating Officer; Faye Beaulieu, PhD, Senior Vice President, Community Investment; and Vickie Allen, MPA, Senior Vice President, Community Investment – Development.
Regina R. Williams, LMSW
Ms. Williams is the former Grant and Strategic Partnership Coordinator at Dunbar High School in the Fort Worth Independent School District, focusing on grant compliance, campus branding and corporate and community partnerships. She currently oversees the organization’s Mission United work, which includes programs such as TXServes and the Veterans Fund, and she serves as an advisory board member of BoardBuild. Ms. Williams is a member of the Fort Worth Area Alliance of Black School Educators Executive Board, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She has an MSW in Social Work from Tarleton State University and is licensed in the state of Texas as a social worker.
Leah King
Ms. King, who previously was Chief Development Officer for the organization, is responsible for driving the strategic vision and direction of the organization in the areas of workplace campaign, donor relations, community investment, and volunteer engagement. Prior to joining the staff of United Way, Ms. King spent her career in the private sector as a public affairs, community relations, investor relations and marketing professional. She currently serves on the board for Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Trinity River Vision TIF. She is also an active member of the Fort Worth Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Ms. King is a founding member of the United Way of Tarrant County’s Women’s Leadership Council (nka Women United) and has served as its Women’s Fund development committee chair. In May of 2017, Ms. King was elected to the board of directors of the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) and is currently serving her first term.
Faye Beaulieu, PhD
Dr. Beaulieu, whose previous role was Regional Director, Northeast, oversees the allocations process and programs such as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Talent 4 Tarrant. She also staffs United Way’s Steering Committee in Northeast Tarrant County and maintains corporate relationships with several major companies and community entities. Dr. Beaulieu is a member of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Board of Trustees, past president of the Texas Association of School Boards, finance chair for First United Methodist Church of Bedford and member of the American Association of University Women. She has also served as president of the Northeast Leadership Forum and remains on their board. Dr. Beaulieu joined the United Way as a volunteer in 1998 and as staff in 2003. She has a BA and an MA in English from Mississippi University for Women and a PhD from the University of Mississippi.
Vickie Allen, MPA
Ms. Allen, who previously served as Director, Major Gifts, is responsible for overseeing corporate and individual donor relations as well as volunteer management for United Way of Tarrant County. Prior to joining United Way, Ms. Allen was the Executive Director for Jeremiah Program, a nationally recognized non-profit serving women and children transforming from poverty to prosperity through education and career-track employment. She also spent more than 10 years in the business sector and serving in various progressive leadership and sales roles with Xerox, IBM and M&M Mars. Ms. Allen received her MA in Public Administration from Harvard University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

The Community Investment team includes development and community outreach professionals, who work as a cohesive group to raise money, allocate funds and resources and bring together other groups and organizations to address and solve social issues in Tarrant County.
