Mission United

Fighting for those who’ve fought for us.

Mission United helps North Texas veterans, active-duty military members and their families access community resources and services through three programs:

Veterans Fund

This fund supports military service members who are returning to civilian life in the Tarrant County area, with services including counseling, career and financial coaching, addiction treatment and more. United Way launched the Veterans Fund in 2013 with corporate contributions from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and Bell. Grants are awarded annually to agencies who support the mission of this fund.

Texas Veterans Network

This innovative technology connects active military, veterans and their families to services, resources and programming, including Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs); Community-Based Organizations (CBOs); and federal, state and local government programs. The network partners with Combined Arms, a Texas-founded and Texas-operated nonprofit organization.

This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families. For more information, visit
