The City of Arlington has always been about helping others and strengthening the community. On June 1, 2017 more than 300 employees gathered at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington to kick of what would be an amazing employee giving campaign. City of Arlington understood right away the critical role they played in helping to make Tarrant County greater.
With the support of Mayor Jeff Williams and City Manager, Trey Yelverton, City of Arlington set out to “Dream United” by raising $20,000 for Tarrant County by June 30th. The “Dream United” campaign was filled with fun activities hosted by various departments throughout the organization. From delicious sweet treats, Kickball and dominoes tournaments, to spring rolls and turkey legs, City of Arlington employees had a great time raising over $30,000! Way to go ARLINGTON!
Staff were presented with a more than $30,000 check raised during the 2016 campaign at the Arlington City Council Meeting on August 8th.
