United Way of Tarrant County’s Area Agency on Aging (AAATC) invites community members to review and provide feedback on its draft Area Plan.
What Is the Area Plan?
The Area Plan is a roadmap that guides AAATC’s services and programs for a two- to four-year period, as determined by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The plan is based on an assessment of documented needs, demographic trends, geographic characteristics, economic factors, and other data that impact older adults and individuals eligible for services under the Older Americans Act in Tarrant County.
The Area Plan incorporates input from older adults, caregivers, families and service providers to ensure the AAATC’s work responds to real needs across Tarrant County.
The plan outlines:
- A coordinated system of services and supports
- Planning, coordination, evaluation and service delivery activities
- Funding sources and available resources
- Measurable objectives that serve as a roadmap for our work
Share Your Feedback
