Ensuring every voice is heard
As part of United Way of Tarrant County, UWTC-Regional brings together people, partners and community leaders across Tarrant County to identify local needs and build solutions that help every neighbor thrive. What began as UWTC-Greater Arlington has grown into a broader regional effort to serve throughout Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Northeast Tarrant and surrounding communities.
Annually, UWTC-Regional contributes an average of 1,150 volunteer hours and is focused on listening, local partnership and shared action so that residents and local nonprofits can find the support and resources they need where they live.
This regional branch is guided by two steering committees, supported by community volunteer committees focused on improving resource sharing and promoting financial stability. The steering committees are part of UWTC’s Community Investment Division and report to the UWTC Community Investment Cabinet and Board of Directors.
