Expectant mothers, families and community members are invited to our Meet the Doula night to learn more about how UWTC’s community doulas support every stage of pregnancy.
At this event, you’ll hear directly from our doulas, learn how their services support moms, families and positive birth outcomes. You’ll also get the opportunity to ask questions about what to expect when working with a doula. Refreshments will be provided.
Through UWTC’s maternal health initiative, in partnership with the Child Poverty Action Lab, the community doula program provides support to mothers throughout pregnancy, during birth and into the postpartum period — offering education, advocacy and compassionate care every step of the way.
