GET HELP STAYING SAFE DURING THE SUMMER HEAT

If you do not have access to sufficient air-conditioning to keep cool, we can help you stay safe. 

Through UWTC's Beat the Heat program, we provide free A/C units to Tarrant County veterans, older adults, people living with disabilities and low-income households. This program is for Tarrant County residents only.

United Way of Tarrant County is pausing intake of new clients for our Beat the Heat A/C unit program as we have a waitlist. We will reopen the list when more A/C units become available. Please contact 2-1-1 to find a cooling center near you. (June 29, 2024)
