Women United Grantee's Year of Impact

Friday, April 10, 2026

As we look ahead to this year’s Women United Luncheon, we want to reflect on the incredible impact made by the 2025 Women’s Impact Fund grantees. At last year’s luncheon, we awarded a total of $75,000 in grants to four local organizations, opening doors to new opportunities for more women and girls across Tarrant County.

Here is what our grantees accomplished with your support:

F.L.Y. Girlz Academy Inc. helps young girls soar by equipping them with life skills and resources they might not otherwise be able to access. With support from our grant, they launched monthly workshops focused on building confidence, strengthening emotional awareness and preparing girls for the challenges ahead.

IamHer walks alongside middle school girls during one of the most formative stages of their lives. With this grant funding, they secured a dedicated space where girls can gather, learn and grow. They’ve also created a place for staff to collaborate and build thoughtful programming that meets girls right where they are during this pivotal time.

Laundry Love Fort Worth is rooted in a simple but powerful belief that clean clothes bring dignity. They used their funding to invest in technology that helps them reach more families and expand their services, taking meaningful steps toward addressing hygiene poverty in our community.

Mental Health Connection continues to turn a tragic beginning into lasting impact. Since the 1999 Wedgwood Baptist Church shooting, the organization has supported mental health and helped individuals heal from trauma. With this grant, 10 therapists received eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) training, strengthening the care available to women and girls who need it most.
