We’re shining a light on Jolie Scruggs, one of our dedicated Benefits Counselors for the Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County (AAATC)! Hailing from Tirana, Albania, she’s making a real difference in the lives of older adults in our community.
Jolie's passion for advocating for the vulnerable members of our community shines through in everything she does, making her an invaluable part of UWTC.
In her role, Jolie assists clients in navigating complex healthcare options, from Medicare to long-term care. She ensures older adults and their caregivers have the necessary tools to make informed decisions and take advantage of every benefit available to them.
Jolie joined our team in May 2023, feeling a strong alignment with our mission and values. However, it was our “Best Place for Working Parents” recognition that sealed the deal for her.
Outside of work, Jolie describes herself as a homebody. She treasures cooking with her daughter, cozy movie nights with friends, and tending to her plants.
