FORT WORTH (May 25,2023) – The fourth annual REVIVE REFRESH, a brunch and workshop for caregivers of those living with dementia, will be held Saturday, May 27. The workshop will include sessions covering legal and financial planning, caregiver resources, as well as interactive activities.
REVIVE REFRESH runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Como Community Center, 4660 Horne St, Fort Worth, TX. Proceeds will benefit Dementia Care Warriors, a reputed nonprofit organization devoted to providing non-medical assistance and resources to family caregivers of those living with Alzheimer’s and related dementia.
“The goal of REVIVE REFRESH is to provide caregivers with the tools and knowledge they need to care for their loved ones with dementia. This is our opportunity to pour into and uplift dementia family caregivers,” said Veronica Shanklin, Executive Director of Dementia Care Warriors. “Caregiving can be overwhelming, and we want to offer support and resources to those who need it most.”
The event will also include catered brunch, live DJ and networking opportunities, providing attendees with a chance to connect with others who share similar experiences. Giveaways will take place throughout the day, beginning with the gift of Video Calling Devices to the first fifty registered attendees to arrive. REVIVE REFRESH is set to uplift and remind every dementia family caregiver that they are not alone on this journey.
