Happy Holidays!

Dear Friends,

As we look back over the events of this year, the United Way of Tarrant County team reflects on our reasons to celebrate as well as on the challenges those in our community continue to experience. Commemorating our centennial anniversary and our 100 years of impact in our communities are fantastic accomplishments, ones that would not have been possible without your support. While we will continue to celebrate throughout the next year, we do so knowing that our work is a critically needed as ever.

For our individual and corporate donors, your generosity this year has been amazing. Thank you for the support you have shown through your contributions that allow our organization and others to touch and change lives every day.

To our community partners, we sincerely appreciate all you do to provide direct service and outreach while working with us to create new initiatives to meet the evolving needs of our neighbors. We look forward to our continued efforts in the new year to make long-lasting impacts on long-standing issues across Tarrant County.

To our volunteers, thank you for working to make our communities better for all by giving your time and talents. It seems that every year there is an unforeseen crisis in our area, such as this year’s excessive heatwave. Yet, when we put out the call for help, you are there to assist.

And, to the dedicated staff at our United Way of Tarrant County offices in Fort Worth and Arlington, I am grateful and honored to lead such an amazing team. Thank you for the work you do to support the growing number of families in need across the county.

From all of us at United Way of Tarrant County, we wish you a happy and blessed holiday season.

With gratitude,

Leah M King
