Community Resource Fair

Saturday, Jan. 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Southside Community Center

959 E Rosedale St., Fort Worth, TX 76104

United Way of Tarrant County is kicking off the 2026 tax season with a Community Resource Fair to connect individuals and families with free tax preparation services and a range of community resources — all under one roof.

Attendees can get their taxes prepared early by IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers or schedule an appointment at a VITA site across Tarrant County. The fair will also include family-friendly activities, free flu shots and information about essential community services to help households thrive this tax season and beyond.

UWTC’s VITA program offers no-cost, quality tax preparation for individuals and families earning $69,000 or less. Each return prepared through VITA helps ensure working families keep more of what they earn.

The event is free and open to the public.
