Community Resource Fair: Aug. 8
As families across Tarrant County prepare for a new school year, United Way of Tarrant County is bringing the community together to help students start the year ready to learn and succeed.
This year's Day of Action will provide free backpacks, books, school supplies and family-friendly activities designed to support student success and connect families with valuable community resources.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at two locations:
- Artes de la Rosa - 1440 N. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76164
- O.H. Stowe Elementary - 4201 Rita Lane, Haltom City, TX 76117

One Site Sponsor — $1,500
- Event signage at one Day of Action location
- Volunteer opportunities for employees

Two Site Sponsor — $2,500

Volunteer
Opportunities are available before, during and after the event, including backpack assembly, event setup, greeting families, distributing, and assisting with event cleanup. Individuals, families and corporate groups are encouraged to get involved and help make a difference for local students and their families.
