Meet Kimberly Riley, our dedicated Disability Options Navigator at the Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County (AAATC)!
With a heart for people, Kimberly thrives in her role at AAATC's Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), where she's the go-to person for connecting older adults, caregivers and individuals with disabilities to the support they need.
Her impact doesn't stop there. Kimberly also leads our Social Isolation and Loneliness Collaborative, working to reduce social isolation among vulnerable seniors. Given that social isolation affects over a quarter of older adults aged 65 and over and is linked to serious health risks like dementia, heart disease and depression, Kimberly's work is vital.
During her downtime, Kimberly finds joy in the simple things—playing with her dog, tending to her garden, and solving puzzles. And here's a fun fact: although she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work from Colorado State University, Kimberly initially pursued a major in music therapy.
