United Way of Tarrant County's impactful reach extends far and wide across the county, touching the lives of residents in Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, and the surrounding areas. At the forefront of our community-focused effort is Kaitlyn McDonald, the dedicated Program Manager of UWTC Greater Arlington.
Originally from Gun Barrel City, Texas, the University of North Texas alum brings a strong passion for making a positive difference.
Recognizable as the friendly face leading the Greater Arlington Resource Sharing Group, Kaitlyn conducts monthly meetings and provides educational opportunities, fostering collaborations that enhance the well-being of the greater Arlington area.
Kaitlyn's love for the community extends beyond the office. As a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteer, she advocates for children in foster care. She's also a new member of the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
One of her biggest passions is supporting Terry Scholars, giving back to the foundation that put her through school. In her downtime, she finds joy in the company of friends, expressing her creativity through crafts and jamming out to Taylor Swift – yes, she's in her Swiftie era!
Kaitlyn's unwavering commitment to the community and diverse involvements make her an invaluable asset to UWTC and the Greater Arlington area.
