As Kyle Chung just wrapped up his summer internship with UWTC, we’re celebrating all he contributed along the way!
Kyle is a sophomore majoring in Finance at The University of Texas at Austin and has been interning with us through the Bank of America Student Leaders program. This nationwide initiative connects young professionals with meaningful nonprofit internship opportunities.
As part of the program, participants attend a three-day summit to learn more about philanthropic giving through a financial lens before selecting a nonprofit to intern for, and Kyle chose UWTC.
This summer, he was a true asset to UWTC's Community Investment team, helping with events for our Greater Arlington Resource Sharing Group and United Way Institute.
One thing that surprised Kyle was the wide range of programs UWTC offers. He remembers being amazed not only by the number of initiatives but also by the many organizations UWTC partners with to make impact possible.
"I see UWTC being a major component for my career because it allows me to learn and understand how certain events would be able to drive funding and donations," said Kyle. "It allows me to grasp a deeper understanding of how finance can drive change."
