Employee Spotlight: Gabriela Hamandeh

Gabriela Hamandeh began her journey 18 years ago with United Way of Tarrant County's Area Agency on Aging. During that time, she's helped countless older adults access the care and support they deserve.

As care coordination manager, Gabriela leads with both heart and experience. She supports her team through challenges, looks for ways to strengthen the agency, and still makes time for her favorite part of the work: connecting directly with clients through her own caseload and home visits.

She draws daily inspiration from the resilience of adults over 60 and their caregivers, who continue to show up and do their best through the realities of aging.

Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys cooking, dancing, and learning about new cultures. Travel has taken her to places like Wadi Rum in Jordan and Costa Rica, two of her favorites so far.
