Meet Roger Foggle, OSC Program Coordinator

For Roger Foggle, work is personal.  As program coordinator for UWTC’s One Second Collaborative (OSC), Roger focuses on the escalating issue of youth gun violence impacting Tarrant County, especially in low-income communities of color.

Native to Fort Worth’s historic Eastwood neighborhood, Roger gives back to the community that shaped him. He uses his voice to positively impact historically underserved, underfunded and underutilized families. With OSC, Roger is building relationships with community leaders and finding critical resources to implement the program.

Roger’s dedication to his community goes way back. Since he left the U.S. Navy more than 20 years ago, Roger has been actively involved in community initiatives such as Fort Worth ISD’s Reading with Barbers, a program that places books in the hands and hearts of children struggling with reading.

Roger also serves as president of Relationships of Excellence and Accountability through Love and Exposure (R.E.A.L.E.), as a board member of Southeast Fort Worth Inc. and an ambassador for BRAVE/R Together.

At UWTC, Roger is known among staff for his huge heart, passion for serving and unrelenting love for the Dallas Cowboys.

We’re proud to have Roger on our team!
