Ways You Can Promote Reading
• Read to the children in your life, or have them read to you.
• Create a library of new and used books for a child.
• Encourage older children to read to younger brothers and sisters.
• Read aloud store signs, billboards and package labels to show children how people use reading all the time.
• Get your children library cards, and let them choose some of the books.
