Railway Company Painted a patio mural
and the inside of a classroom at Zone 4 Kids Child
Development Center in
Arlington; cut tags out of donated clothing and led
games, crafts and cake decorating at a Boys & Girls Club
branch; cleaned up the yard and painted the home of an
isolated senior citizen who was a client of United Way's
Neighbor Helping Neighbor project;
sorted and prepared donated
items for the resale stores of GRACE (Grapevine Relief
And Community Exchange) in Grapevine.
Exxon
Sorted and prepared donated items for the resale stores
of GRACE (Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange) in
Grapevine; painted the gym and made other paint
improvements at the Salvation Army Family Life Center in
Arlington.
Nationwide Insurance
Sorted donated items in the Community Enrichment Center
emergency food pantry in North Richland Hills.
Nordstrom Department Store Sorted and prepared donated
items for the resale stores of
GRACE
(Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange) in
Grapevine; at the
Presbyterian Night Shelter, painted a patio
and 1,000 sq. ft. room and four offices; cleaned out and
painted wall lockers and old restrooms and removed
graffiti from walls.
PepsiCo
Installed playground equipment and a safety fall
zone; painted and refurbished other playground furniture
and repaired fencing at Zone 4 Kids Child Development
Center in Arlington.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Installed baseball field
dugouts with canopies and a permanent concession stand
canopy at the East Side Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs
of Greater Fort Worth.
Target
Watauga Store
Mowed,
cleared brush and cleaned up debris around the home of
an isolated senior citizen in White Settlement who was a
client of United Way's Neighbor Helping Neighbor
project.
United
Way of Tarrant County Staff and family members
surveyed the homeless at the Presbyterian Night Shelter
and served them supper in Fort Worth. Also collected
school supplies and other items for low-income
elementary school students.
