The Legal Awareness Program offers group presentations to inform older adults and service providers about benefits and issues affecting the lives of older adults. These presentations can be made to groups of older adults, professional providers or informal caregivers.

Program topics include:

   • Medicare Basics

   • Medicare Supplemental Insurance

   • Financial Programs Benefiting Older Adults

   • Long Term Services and Support Options (LTSS)

   • Consumer Fraud and Prevention

   • Advance Directives

   • Medicare Part D Drug Plans (What They Are and How to Choose One)

In addition to these topics, custom presentations can be provided on related topics such as caring for the caregiver and elder law issues.
