The Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County is governed by an Advisory Council of 38 volunteers who serve on a number of committees. The Advisory Council is responsible for planning, coordinating and advocating for the development of a quality comprehensive service delivery system to meet the needs of older persons in Tarrant County. Council members meet the second Monday each month at noon at the Botanic Garden Rose Room in Fort Worth. Nelda Harris is the Advisory Council chair.
