United Way-Northeast Moves to New Quarters

Uw Ne Building ExteriorBoxes. Desks. More boxes. Out they came and off they went as United Way-Northeast, United Way’s Northeast Tarrant County office, moved January 12 to new quarters at 221 Bedford Rd. in Bedford.

Moving day was a milestone of sorts, as United Way-Northeast had spent the last 22 years at 813 Brown Trail in the Northeast Human Service Center, which closed in December. It won’t take long to get adjusted to new surroundings, though. The new office is only about a mile from the former Brown Trail location. “It’s literally down the street and around the corner,” said United Way-Northeast Regional Director Faye Beaulieu.

Uwne Moving Day 2012Today you’ll find United Way-Northeast in Suite 306 of the red brick building situated just west of the intersection of Brown Trail and Bedford Road. A public open house is planned for March 7 from 10 a.m. to noon, with a brief program at 10:30 a.m.

United Way-Northeast works with volunteers and human service professionals to strengthen communities in Northeast Tarrant County. They evaluate needs in the areas of education, income and health, and bring together relevant partners to address them.
