United Way’s Area Agency on Aging and other organizations have opened a new Northside Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) in Fort Worth.
Like the Tarrant County ADRC that opened in 2007 at the Resource Connection, 1300 Circle Drive in Fort Worth, the new center helps older adults and people with disabilities and their families to obtain services offered by government and nonprofit groups. It is situated in Suite 105 of the Mercado Building, 1500 N. Main.
People may call 1-888-730-2372 free of charge or drop in from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Professionals at the Northside ADRC can provide information and connect people with financial assistance, counseling, legal advice, respite care and other services.
